The Prairie Metropolis Centre (PMC) is pleased to be hosting the 11th National Metropolis Conference in Calgary, Alberta in March 2009. The Metropolis National conferences are large annual meetings that bring together researchers, policy-makers and community practitioners to explore the frontiers of research and practice in six policy priority areas: 1) Citizenship and Social, Cultural and Civic Integration; 2) Economic and Labour Market Integration; 3) Family, Children and Youth; 4) Housing and Neighbourhoods; 5) Justice, Policing and Security ; and 6) Welcoming Communities: The Role of the Host Communities in Attracting, Integrating and Retaining Newcomers and Minorities. The National Metropolis Conferences are the principal venue for national stakeholders to come together and they have become the largest annual conferences in Canada on immigration and diversity issues
EXHIBITOR PACKAGE
Exhibit registration includes the following equipment and services:
- Carpeted floor space of 2.5 m wide x 2 m deep (8 ft. x 6.5 ft)
- One 2 m blue skirted table, two chairs and one waste basket.
- On-site security when the exhibits are closed.
Exhibit Space Rates:
Non-governmental organization: $100.00 Other: $300.00
Additional services such as power outlets, internet access, etc. may be purchased at an additional cost. Rate sheets will be provided in the exhibitor manual.
NOTE: Exhibit registration does not include registration to the Metropolis 2009 Conference.
